I saw this red velvet dress from Dolce & Gabbana in a magazine and wanted to scetch it ....as you can see I actually did but I couldn't find the collection it belongs to which is something that bugs me...so if you know please tell me.

Great man with a great way to see the world.  I like the way he talks about the visual influences we are exposed to every day...moreover I like the words he uses to describe his passion...kinda reminds me of my Australian English teacher.

Color blocking or what Betty would wear (except the first set)

It's ominpresent (obviously). We could see it at several catwalks. What am I talking about? Color blocking. All the fresh colors remind me of a delicious icecream bowl with strawberries and kiwi in summer. Betty Suarez was another source of inspiration although I guess my sets are more wearable than hers :) I love the series...but it slowly goes to an end ;__;

Yeah so I thought that I should bring spring/summer into my virtual wardrobe at polyvore as summer still seems to be far away here...scratch that...even spring seems to be ages away from what I can see outside.

Es ist allgegenwärtig, man kann's nicht verleugnen. Neben Spitze, Blümchenmuster und flachen Schuhen(!!!) hat Color blocking die Laufstege erobert. Diese ganzen frischen knalligen Farben erinnern mich an einen leckeren Eisbecher mit Erdbeeren und Kiwis an einen schönen Sommertag. Obwohl ich sagen muss, dass mich Betty Suarez nicht minder inspiriert hat...aber ich glaube, dass meine Sets ein wenig tragbarer sind als ihre :) Ich liebe diese Serie aber bald habe ich sie komplett durchgeschaut ;__;

Na ja ich dachte mir, dass ich in meinem virtuellen Kleiderschrank mal für Frühling sorgen könnte, da es draußen ja leider noch lange nicht nach Sommer geschweige denn Frühling aussieht.

Yesterday I received my new mobile phone !!! Yay it's pink and I love it !!! I always wanted this kind of mobile phone and finally my dream came true!!! This was what I wore yesterday...actually nothing breath taking....because I shouldn't spent so much time in the internet while each minute an hour passing means that the test date is coming closer and closer and I really don't want to write it!!! The jacket is new from H&M Sale...I was desperately in need of a new jacket since I forgot my coat at my parent's place....and this one was just perfect and different from my usual ones...main point why I bought it: the zipper and the lightly draped shoulder parts!!!

Yay yay yay gestern kam mein super süßes girlie Handy endlich an. Endlich (nach Jahren des Wünschens) habe ich es!!!

Das hatte ich gestern an...total weltbewegend nich'? Momentan bin ich so eingenommen von der Uni und hetzte dauernd hin und her, dass ich mir einfach irgendwas aus dem Schrank greife und reinschlüpfe, schnell noch ein Armband umlegen und Schal und dann muss ich auch dem Bus hinterher rennen ;__;

Die Jacke habe ich letztens neu im H&M Sale gekauft. Pluspunkte und letztlich auch Kaufgrund waren der Reisverschluss und die leicht drapierte Schulterpartie....hat was cooles (besonders mit Chucks) und auch was eleganted mit Leggings/Strumpfhosen und Boots dazu.

Heute kommen wie bereits angekündigt neue Posts. In letzter Zeit kam ich leider überhaupt nicht dazu mir die Frühjahrskollektionen anzugucken, aber nu' hab ich es ja geschafft und bin total geflasht von den ganzen Kreationen....um genau zu sein sind es 14 Kollektionen von etwa 130 die mich begeistert haben.

Ich wurde ab und zu gefragt (oder halt einfach ungläubig angeguckt, wenn ich über Fashion Shows sprach) wieso ich mich soviel mit Modenschauen, Designern und Haute Couture etc beschäftige, da ich ja nichts davon hätte u.a., weil ich mir sowas niemals nie leisten könnte. BÄM....früher wären mir dabei die Sicherungen durchgebrannt....noch viel früher...also irgendwann mit 14 oder so wäre ich knallrot angelaufen und hätte es noch nicht erklären können aber heutzutage weiß ich was Sache ist (teilweise zumindest). 

Es macht mich einfach glücklich zu sehen wie eine Gruppe von Menschen dazu fähig ist die verschiedensten Gefühle durch die Wahl bestimmter Materialien, Farben und Formen auszudrücken und das auch wirklich vermitteln können. Ich finde diesen ganzen Prozeß von der Idee bis zum fertigen Kleid einfach faszinierend. Diese Leidenschaft und Geduld die in jeden Stich investiert wird und die nochmalige Überarbeitung falls das Kleid nicht richtig sitzt...dieses Gefühl, diese Passion spricht micht wahnsinnig an. Also falls ihr mich mal irgendwo im Laden sehen solltet wie ich ein Kleid etc an mein Gesicht halte als wäre ich kurzsichtig, liegt das nur daran, weil ich wissen will wie das Kleid zusammengenäht wurde :)

Mode ist eine Kunstform die es verdient hat respektiert zu werden und darum kann ich diese kleinkarierten spießigen Landeier die sich darüber lustig machen nicht ernst nehmen und öfters auch nicht leiden. Klingt fies, ist aber so. Weltweit arbeiten tausende und abertausende Menschen in diesem Business und noch viel viel mehr Menschen beschäftigen sich in ihrer Freizeit damit...so lächerlich und vergänglich kann das ganze also gar nicht sein....

Irgendwie habe ich das Gefühl, dass ich mich schon wieder nicht so richtig klarmachen konnte.

Na ja eigentlich wollte ich das gar nicht schreiben, da es hier um die RTW 2011 Kollektion von Valentino gehen sollte. Bekanntermaßen ist ja nicht jede rtw Kollektion gleich tragbar, aber diese ist es definitiv.

Das Design Duo Piccioli und Chiuri haben mit ihrem Konzept, die ultrafeminine Romantik und den Glamour von Valentino, in eine mühelos erscheinende, noch verhührerische, noch subtilere Richtung zu führen, erfolgreich gemeistert. Die überwiegend zart wirkenden Spitzenkleider waren verziert mit kleinen Lederblümchen und Rüschen und Volants schmückten so gut wie jedes Kleid, ohne aber kitschig oder überladen zu wirken. Alles in einem ist dies eine sehr tragbare elegante Kollektionen mit verspielten Elementen. Zu den Accessoires muss ich sagen, dass die Taschen an sich ja nicht neu sind, aber dieser Nietengriff haut echt einiges raus und gibt der Tasche wieder einen modernen nicht zu altbacken Touch. Sonst sind da noch die flachen Schuhe zu erwähnen: himmlisch!!!!! Danke lieber Gott, dass diesen Frühling/ Sommer flache Schuhe DAS must-have schlecht hin sind. Also Mädels haltet Ausschau nach Flats!!!

Three songs that make my day for 7 days already

Hhhm actually I've  super much to write about (that's unusual xD) but NO time. NO light. NO freetime at all. And to all bad I've no mobile phone anymore but although all this sounds rather depressing (oh have I mentioned that I can't sleep for three days?) I feel quite okay.

For some days now I dress slightly different than before and really want to take pics but because I leave so early in the morning and come back way too late I can't take any useful photos....I really hope to take some at the end of the week and post them here.

Moreover I got a few interesting magazines with  interesting editorials and streetstyle looks I look forward to share with you!!!

Whatelse?? Things I have to cope with recently:

* Jealous bitches who want to bring me down but aren't clever enough to do so

* Motivate myself to study harder...or let me say to start studying at all....half year exams are knocking on my door (horror... I tell you)

* My new guitar course....somehow somebody forgot to tell me that the average age in that group is 60!!!!!!!   Do I give the impression that I want to talk about midlife-crisis, grandchildren or bladder problems??? Actually NOOO !!!

* Fucking Poupeegirl suspended my poupee....because of some rule violation.....If I just would know what shitty rules I allegdly violated!!!

Ok but now back to topic.

Now three songs that make my day....and not only today but the last 7 days (or something).

This song was called 'worthy heir' of Blur's 'Song 2' .... and yeah that's kinda right I think...but I've to say that the opening riff reminds me a little of Nirvana guitar riffs.

Daft Punk 'Around the World'....I can't describe how fascinated I was when I saw this video for the first time. I was something like 8 years old and instantly fell in love with this....It's still so different from the majority of the existing music video's...I think Daft Punk are one of the reasons why I'm into this different-ways-to-express-feelings-with-art/performance/music-thingie.

Hahaha....Barbra Streisand!!! That's my favorite dancefloor song at the moment!!!

Als ich gestern durch das erste Monki Magazin durchgeblättert habe, traf mich die Inspiration wie ein Blitz und das ist das Ergebnis. Meine Stärke liegt eindeutlich im Zeichen, obwohl ich es wieder verlernt habe Hände zu zeichnen und die Proportionen könnten auch besser sein.....well well well....wir behaupten jetzt mal das wäre mein Stil : D

After going through the first issue of Monki magazine I felt the inspiration flow so I took out my scetchblock and started scetching what came to my mind. I really think that scetching and designing is my real strenght, although I could be better with proportions....I'll post other scetches soon, too.

Chanel Pre-Fall 2011

Nach dem ich diese Kollektion gesehen habe war ich geradezu beschämt Karl Lagerfeld für zu überbewertet zu halten. Ich revidiere alles!! Diese Kollektion ist faszinierend. Ich konnte mich vor Aufregung und Bewunderung gar nicht halten und saß da mit großen leuchtenden Augen und weit offenem Mund. Die Kollektion ist außergewöhnlich tragbar...vielleicht nicht immer im stressigen Alltag aber sonst schon, wenn man dann auch genug Kleingeld in der Tasche hat läufts. Das Thema: Paris meets Byzanz. Man sieht's. Chanel Klassiker wie Kastenjacke bestickt mit Mosaiken und Perlen. Mit Goldfäden bearbeitete Tweedmäntel, Samthosen und auch die eleganten Seidenroben kommen auch nicht zu kurz, natürlich auch mit Pailletten und Mosaiken bestickt.

Meine persönlichen Highlights sind die filigranen mit Edelsteinen besetzten Haarbänder (hab ein Faible für Haarschmuck, kann ca. 40 Haarreifen/bänder mein eigen nennen) und diese unglaublichen (flachen!!!!) ebenso edelsteinbesetzten Schuhe. Marie Antoinette meets Aladdin. I'm in love, aber sowas von. Will mir die jemand zum Valentinstag schenken??

I'm a love addict

Mein heutiges Outfit ist 'ne Art Hommage an die Zeiten als ich noch 17 und ein depressiver Rebell mit Hang zu verrückten Sachen war. Zurzeit krieg ich nicht genug von VAMPS und mit VAMPS meine ich eigentlich Hyde...ich liebe seine rauchige Stimme und die uptempo/rock songs...uuuh ja. Wahrscheinlich lag's daran warum ich meinen Schrank nach Bandshirts durchforstet hab. Zu schade, dass ich noch nicht die Möglichkeit hatte Hyde live zu sehen, egal ob mit L'Arc~en~Ciel oder mit VAMPS...wayne..irgendwann ganz bestimmt!! Immerhin konnte ich mein geliebtes D'espairsRay Tourshirt finden...damit war ich dann mehr als zufrieden :)

Die Tasche in Khaki habe ich vom H&M online sale und ich liiiiiiebe sie. Es scheint als wäre sie extra für mich angefertigt worden. Sie ist wie die (nicht magische) Version von Hermine's kleinem Beutel (aus dem aktuellen Film)....du füllst und füllst sie und sia hat immernoch genug Platz für anderes Zeugs!! Außerdem hat sie auch vier praktische Außenfächer. Ideal für Handy, mp3 Player, Schlüsselbund etc.

Todays outfit was kinda inspired my my teenage rock times back when I was 17 I guess.....It feels like yesterday that I was 17...I can remember myself from back than really clearly...haha... Currently I'm addicted to VAMPS. Maybe it's because of that that I emptied my closet to look for my band shirts. Too bad that I never had the chance to see Hyde live whether with L'Arc~en~Ciel nor with VAMPS...but I found my beloved D'espairsRay shirt so I was more than content!!

I got the khaki bag from H&M at their online sale and I became fond of this bag right away...it seems to be made especially for me. It's like Hermione's tiny bag that you can fill and fill with everything that comes to your mind and you still have enough space...it's the same with this bag. Moreover it has four outer pockets for mobile-phone, mp3-player, keys etc.

Ein paar Freunde wissen's ja bereits, dass ich wie'ne Fanatikerin die koreanische Serie 'Secret Garden' verfolge und da hat dieses Outfit irgendwas in mir ausgelöst. Die Schauspielerin Kim Sa Rang trägt (aufgrund ihrer Rolle als die fiese Bitch (mit der man aber später sympathisiert) ja ausschließlich fantastische Catwalk Kreationen und dieses Outfit ist vergleichsweise total schlicht und nicht weiter bemerkenswert.... na ja auch nur 'eigentlich', denn der Kragen ihrer Jacke ist mit vergoldeten, an sich simplen Schlüsseln verziert, was dem ganzen einen verspielten und kreativen Touch verleiht. Das wäre doch ein richtig gutes DIY Projekt...'ne preiswerte Kastenjacke besorgen und Schlüssel und auf geht's mit Goldlack und Drähten!!!

As a few friends already now I'm a soap fanatic and my current favourite one is the korean drama 'Secret Garden!!! At the beginning I disliked the role played by actress Kim Sa Rang (because of her bitchy and bossy character but as the drama goes on she makes the audience understand why she act that way) but uuuuhh she knows how to dress nice!!! Actually this outfit isn't (compared to her usual fancy style) that special....just a jeans, blouse with big volants and blazer.....humm....yeah...actually.

Scratch that! It IS fab!! I mean who got the idea to paint keys gold and sew them on  a jackets collar?? And why so late??? Well at least someone did it because it's genius!!! So if there are talented woman who read this...this must be a very entertaining and fun DIY project!! If I have more time I want to come back to this idea and make something in this direction!!!

Solche interessanten Details an Kleidungsstücken ziehen mich total an und entgehen meinen Luchsaugen nicht...darum also hatte ich ein Déjà-vu Gefühl, denn die süße Carey Mulligan trug etwas ähnlich verrücktes bei den Oscars 2010. Sie trug ein wunderschönes langes schwarzes Kleid von Prada bestickt mit Blümchen, Nieten und......irgendwas was nach Miniatur Ausgaben von Scheren, Gabeln, Messern und allem Möglichen was die Küchenschublade hergibt. Das ist Mode !!!

My eyes seem to be trained to see interesting details...I guess it's because of the fact that I love those crazy playful detaily on dresses.....well well well the reason for my déjà-vu was Carey Mulligan and what she wore at the Oscars 2010. A wonderful Prada dress embroidered with studs, flowers and all the things your kitchen offers...forks, knives, scissors. That's fashion I love.

walking on a dream

Unbelievable but it seems that I take my resolutions serious (we remember that it was two days ago that I made the resolutions). I started to draw on a frequently basis. Hope it stays that way. It's maybe because of friends who told me that they would buy and actually wear clothes designed by me :)

Happy New Year 2011

明けましておめでとうございます !!!!

Although I didn't do something special New Year's Eve I felt ultimately happy because granny slept over at our place!!! It was a premiere in all my 21 years I spent here on this fucking earth. The best part was definitely that she slept in my room. I missed the long talks I used to have with granny so it was like being back to the good old times. It's granny's warmth that makes me feel calm and like no one in the world can harm me. Ok enough of sentimental granddaughter talk...

This year I really really want to change and make a lot of things differently. I tried to recall 2010 and it felt difficult 'What did I do 2010?'- 'Don't know. Nothing special happened. It was a shitty year.' An I still feel that it was like that but than it came to my mind. I was in London and had so much fun although I travelled there all by myself. I felt really alive there (maybe because I was in a winter depression kinda situation back then XD) ...I think I remember the last year being unspectacular because I had a three months summerbreak and couldn't travel to France or Turkey as I planned and I couldn't make an internship either...

Well that's gonna change this year. I'm going to use all the time given to the fullest and live the way I want to.

I want to give all my best this year to make this an unforgettable year full of wonderful memories!!! My new year resolutions for 2011 are to work harder on my university stuff, work on my health, travel to Japan and Korea (improve my language skills) and be more sociable and talkative. Moreover the things I wish for every year, that my family stays healthy and that I can improve my drawing and guitar playing skills!!

I wish all my readers a happy and successful new year 2011 !!!
